Wavy Lob for Summer

Step 1: Start with clean hair.

Prep your hair by washing and conditioning your locks. Make sure to use use a hair care system that’s designated for your hair type. Shampoo and conditioner are designed to work together, so using them as a unit will ensure that your hair will reap its product benefits.

Step 2: Dry your hair.

If you have time, air-dry your hair until it’s at least 90% dry. If that’s not an option, blow-dry your hair but be sure to use a heat protectant to protect your hair. We like the TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray whose formula works to protect your hair from heat, while making your hair super shiny and soft.

Step 3: Use a curling wand to create your waves.

Next up are those wavy curls. Use a 1¼-inch ceramic curling wand where you gather small sections of your hair. Start by twisting the sections of your hair around the barrel of the curling wand. Hold the hair in place for three minutes or so. If you have a lot of hair, clip the pieces of hair that you’re not using, releasing the sections as you go. Hold the hair in your palm and scrunch them in your hand to define the shape. If you find any wayward strands or flyaways from the heat process, use some serum like the Suave Biotin Infusion Anti-Breakage Serum. Infused with B7 Biotin, this formula protects your strands form breakage as it smooths your hair.

Step 4: Lock in your hairstyle.

Now you have an awesome wavy hairstyle! How easy was that?! Maintain your bounce all-day long by locking in your style with some assistance from some hairspray. We like the Nexxus New York Salon Care Comb Thru Hold and Finishing Mist, a lightweight formula that will hold onto your curls, leaving them bouncy and touchable!
